BY CAR FROM ROME
QUICKEST ROUTE
Option A: Shortest route, with less traffic and breathtaking views of Naples: take the A1 motorway and take the Caserta Sud exit, then take the A30 Salerno-Caserta motorway. Leave at the Pagani-Nocera exit. Follow the signs for “Valico di Chiunzi” and “Costiera amalfitana”, reaching Ravello through the pass.
Option B: take the A1 motorway to Caserta Sud and follow the signs for Naples and then Salerno. Take the A3 Salerno-Napoli motorway. Leave at the Angri Sud exit. Follow the signs for “Valico di Chiunzi” and “Costiera amalfitana”, reaching Ravello through the pass.
PANORAMIC ROUTE
At the Caserta Sud exit, take the A30 motorway and follow the signs for Salerno. Follow the signs for “Costiera amalfitana” and “Ravello”, passing through the towns of Vietri sul Mare, Cetara, Maiori and Minori. This extremely panoramic route is liable to have considerable traffic, especially at the weekends and on public holidays.

Option A: Travelling from the south on the A3 motorway in the direction of Salerno, follow the signs for “Costiera amalfitana” and “Ravello”, passing through the towns of Vietri sul Mare, Cetara, Maiori and Minori. Option B: Travelling from the south on the A3 motorway towards Salerno, continue in the direction of “Naples”. Leave the motorway at the Nocera exit. Follow the signs for “Valico di Chiunzi” and “Costiera amalfitana”, reaching Ravello through the pass.
